To achieve the best results with Ecotex LED Emulsion, it is recommended to use Ecotex Hyper Haze to degrease the screen and provide a clean surface for the emulsion to adhere to. It is also important to work in a room with no UV light, using a yellow light instead. Additionally, it is a good practice to write down the date the emulsion was opened on the bottle to better track the shelf life of the product.

When coating the screen, use the sharp edge of the scoop coater and ensure the screen is completely dry before and after coating. The recommended drying conditions are 86°F to 104°F (30°C to 40°C) with 30% to 50% humidity and good air circulation.

Exposure times may vary, but a starting point of 5-10 seconds with an 80W LED light source 2-3 inches away from the screen, or 5-10 minutes with a 500W halogen light source 14-15 inches away from the screen, is suggested. The light source should be placed under the screen and artwork.
